Trapped

I have been thinking for a while — questioning everything. This endless work to earn more, just to consume more. This constant race to earn even more — and then pass that same race onto our children: telling them they must earn more than we did.

A culture of overconsumption. A world where products are developed first, and then demand is created — just to sell them to us.

An economic system that constantly inflates, making your savings worth less every year. So we run harder, just to stay in the same place.

We go to school and college to become skilled labour — to serve tech companies and corporate, just to keep this machine running.

But in the middle of all this, what have we missed?

We missed out on actually living a meaningful life.

Did we create a better world — or are we just working harder to keep this broken system alive, so that the next generation can be sucked into it too?
